Foothill Alumnae Chapter is a
chapter of the international organization Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. We
serve the foothill area of the Los Angeles basin with a membership
of 50 college graduate women.
We

Greetings:
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Foothill Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Foothill Alumnae is the 828th chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. It is an honor to serve as president of this a chapter who is committed to following the core principles of our sorority in making sure that we serve our communities in the capacity of meeting their needs following the illustrious leadership of our 22 founders who laid our foundation. We will follow the leadership of our founders by serving our communities through our programs and projects which for the 2009-2010 sorority years is as follows:
The programs/projects planned for the 2009-10 sorority year are divided among the Five Point Programmatic Thrust: Educational Awareness – Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy, Dr. Jeane Noble Delta GEMS and Scholarship Awards; Economic Development – Building Financial Fortitude, Budgeting, and learning how the web can be your tool in making money; International Awareness & Involvement – Providing support to Darfur and other areas of need; Physical and Mental Health – Promoting Healthy Lifestyle/Living; and Political Awareness (Social Action) – Increasing Community Awareness of Political Issues, and the 2010 Census.
We have scheduled three major fundraising efforts for this sorority year and would ask that you please support our efforts:
